Landscape of Origin
Snow is my landscape of origin.
This land is beautiful. It harmonizes nature with one and half centuries of human activity. I grew up here.
Before pioneer settlement, the land would have been covered with virgin forests, but now they only exist in our imagination.
Now we can see gentle and calm scenes look on this land.
When I started taking this series, I had been taking frozen trees, forest and or another artifact exiting in the snow.
After few seasons later, I focused in on simple and symbolic scenes. Because it is the best way to express this series.This work is in order to express my vision. Minimal elements were imported into each picture. And also, effects were added so that the image would appear to spread out beyond the limits of the scene.
